Flood Triangle is a lovely community bordered by Marsh Road, Bay Road, and Highway 101 in the eastern part of Menlo Park. Made up of mostly modern ranch homes with all-electric kitchens and forced air heating, many of them have been added on to creating a nice mixture of original and modified architecture.
This suburb is wonderfully located with easy access to the convenient 101 highway as well as several other Silicon Valley companies and attractions. Within the neighborhood is Flood Park, a widely popular park only minutes away with gorgeous trees, a baseball field, and tennis courts. Residents enjoy leisurely drives or bike rides on the weekends to this destination, often saying “hello” to fellow neighbors along the way. Additionally, the Menlo Park City Library, the VA Medical Center, and the Menlo Park Caltrain Station are all only a few minutes away. The surrounding high-quality school district includes Menlo-Atherton High School, Menlo School, and Sacred Heart School, all of which are an easy commute. Along with top-tier education and inviting parks are several other surrounding Silicon Valley amenities, including Facebook Headquarters, Ravenswood Open Space Preserve, and several parks along the coast of the bay. To accompany the many nearby facilities is a close-knit community of homeowners.
Flood Triangle is filled with dedicated residents who are adamant about preserving the quaint feel of the community. Over the years, they have fought for and won a zoning overlay that is specific to neighborhood needs. There are also many returning inhabitants who lived there during their childhood years. As a result, there is a strong support system in the neighborhood that facilitates block parties, holiday celebrations, and book clubs. This close-knit community is pleasantly defined by the caring residents and Silicon Valley accessibility.
